Birth. Death. And Love.

00:00 / 07:35

Birth and death are constant cycles of life, in an eternal spiral of other, larger and smaller cycles. Absolutely everything - from a leaf to a human soul - obeys these invisible laws of the cosmos. Whether we consciously perceive these laws or not, we are an integral part of a greater reality. There are seasons in nature, similar to our lives. An unexpected polar winter freezes fields and forests, spring floods spill into river valleys, an unexpected drought dries up the soil - but the transformation and process of life continues uninterruptedly. After a warm summer, a wet autumn comes, clear sunny days are replaced by long dark nights. Such is the order. Such are the laws. So we, too, in the inner cosmos, constantly experience our own spiral of transformation. Birth, growth, maturity, aging, death. These are the cycles of our human evolution, human expression and human becoming.

Eternal circle.

From beginning to end.

And again again.

The cycles of decay and renewal are described very wisely by mystics. In Christian mysticism, there is a concept called the “Dark Night of the Soul” — an inner period of transformation in which a person faces the decay of the old self - death, and the emergence of a new self - birth. Whether we are facing actual physical death, or psychological or even metaphorical death, we face the same inner thresholds that we must cross - fear, resistance, clinging, emptiness, loneliness, and finally letting go and a deep acceptance that what is happening to us is much deeper than we are able to understand. Mystics call these periods liminal spaces, transitions, existential transformations, which lead to inner transformation. Psychologist Carl Jung calls this individuation - irreversible inner changes - when the old identity begins to disintegrate, and the soul plunges into an unknown inner space for deep reconstruction. These are states in which a person may feel tired, depressed, distant from themselves or the meaning of life. However, in the mystical tradition, this is not considered the end.

This is a transition.

This is a threshold.

It is the space between death and birth.

Liminal space is a complex but noble and sacred process, like a baby's journey through the womb, its first cry, its first breath. Like the last days and nights in the human body, Like the last breath before closing the eyes, freeing the soul. Such is the order. Such are the laws.

We experience several deaths and births in our lives — psychologically, spiritually, and physically.

Beginning. Growth. Bloom. Collapse. Stagnation. Darkness. Pain. Silence. Renewal. New beginning.

Darkness and light.

The ability to listen to these unyielding cycles of life, a silent respect for our own inner nature, transformation, and experience, allows us to align and harmonize with the continuous process of beginning and ending. Conscious awareness opens an invisible door to our own unique human experience, but also allows us to access a silent knowing that is beyond our minds.

There is no light without darkness.
There is no body without a soul.
There is no joy without sadness.
There is no physical without the metaphysical.
There is no birth without death.

And finally – Love.

Described by mystics, poets and philosophers, sung by musicians, painted by artists in paintings, sculpted in sculptures. There are not enough words in the world to describe it. However, it has already left traces in everyone's heart, made a nest, and taken root. Oh God, what an immeasurable power it breathes - sometimes destructive, sometimes creative; sometimes a trap, sometimes liberation; sometimes bliss, sometimes a century-old heartache. Love brings the whole amplitude of feelings, but it is not a feeling. The definition closest to my heart, which my beloved spiritual teacher instilled in me:

Love is a creative divine power.

She is wise, pure, and transformative.

The true purpose of Love is to break down the curtains, to close the distance, to heal the pain, and to bring us home. To Ourselves.

Love returns us not only to our human nature, but also to the divine essence that we call Self.

Every love - for parents, lovers, children - regardless of whether it has enriched us or destroyed us, ultimately leads us to the same place: to an immediate connection with ourselves and this entire wonderful world.

How many tears. How much pain. How many losses. How many discoveries. And all of this is a journey home.

So wonderfully simple. And at the same time – so difficult.

Love comes to wake us up.

There is no Life without Love.

Just as there is no birth without death.

Transformation through Love

For deeper contemplation, read the diary and poetry cycle: "Love Letters."

The Heart of Light symbolizes rebirth, renewal, and emotional and spiritual transformation. It also invites us to let in the deeper knowledge and wisdom that a person has an incredible ability to transform. In a mystical context, pain, loss, suffering, darkness - is a transition. Thresholds are a part of life. No matter what station of personal transformation we are at today, let us remember that behind the darkness lies light, after the night comes morning, after the end comes a new beginning. It is practically impossible to get lost on the journey of life, because the path always leads us where we need to go - to ourselves. If guidance is needed, because we feel lost, it is necessary to develop the ability to rely on our inner voice - books and theories are no longer effective in liminal territory. To survive an inner (or real) drought or flood, one must awaken instinctively to one's nature, but one must also "grow up" psychologically in order to adapt to new circumstances and living conditions. Life itself conducts transformation, so changing and allowing a deep metamorphosis to complete the process is not only necessary, but also inevitable. The Heart of Light speaks of conscious transformation, natural human evolution, during which the true essence of a person is revealed. From birth to death is a long journey. From seed to fruit - a whole life.
Everything moves in an endless transformation.

Eternal circle.

From beginning to end.

You are where you need to be.

The road is everywhere...
