"Love Letters" Series

All of these love letters and poems were born from my diary. They have been slightly edited in some places to preserve privacy. They are emotionally intimate, real human experiences, born from real authentic experiences, real feelings, and real pain.

I believe in the three deepest transformations of a person – birth, death and love. In some texts you will hear romantic love. In others – divine love. In still others – the love of parents and children.

I hope that all these letters will give you hope. That they will help you look deep within yourself, see your pain, and ultimately help you heal. Read slowly, letting the sensory and emotional information sink in. Let your heart and mine speak.

Excerpt from a letter to my mother.

"Dear Mom,

I feel like I would like to lay out in this letter some important things that I have experienced since the beginning of my life. And I will humbly accept any reaction you may have. I have grown up to the point where I cannot lie to myself, to you, and I cannot be anything but myself.

Raising me from a young age, you saw me grow. I see my children now. And I know that they are changing every day, learning new things, understanding life itself more and more. We have talked so sincerely for so long that I feel like you haven't known the person you consider your daughter for a long time..."
